deleting your data.

You can disconnect one channel, remove individual work, or ask us to delete the whole account. Here is what each choice does.

What EverLoud stores for a connected account

When you connect a social account, EverLoud stores:

  • the account handle and display name
  • the access EverLoud needs to publish approved posts, held as set out below
  • the posts you create and the media attached to them
  • publishing results, including links to posts that went live
  • analytics numbers collected each day
  • Instagram and Facebook, connected directly: EverLoud holds the access token on its server, encrypted. To revoke it, remove EverLoud from the apps connected to your Facebook account. Facebook tells EverLoud, and we record the request.
  • Bluesky: EverLoud holds the app password you created for it, encrypted. To revoke it, delete that app password in Bluesky’s settings.
  • Telegram and Discord: there is no token of yours. EverLoud’s own bot posts to the channel you added it to. To revoke it, remove the bot from the channel or server.
  • Every other channel: our publishing provider holds the access token, and EverLoud keeps only the provider’s reference to the account. The permission was granted on the provider’s screen, so it is listed under the provider’s name in that platform’s settings, and you can remove it there.

EverLoud never receives your social account password.

Disconnect one account

In the app, open Settings, then Channels, and choose Disconnect next to the account. EverLoud deletes the access token or app password it stores for that account, removes the account from your workspace, and stops all publishing to it. Scheduled posts that included it drop that channel, and a post left with no other channel goes back to Drafts. To remove EverLoud’s permission on the platform as well, remove it in that platform’s settings (for Facebook and Instagram: Settings, then Business integrations).

Posts already published stay on the social platform. They belong to that platform, not to EverLoud. If you want one removed there, delete it on the platform itself.

Delete a single post or media file

You can kill a scheduled post. Open it on the Calendar and choose Kill, or use Kill this post under Recent activity on Home, which shows the five latest posts. Older scheduled posts are on the calendar.

Killing a post stops EverLoud from publishing it. A draft never publishes until someone approves it, and a post that is already live must be removed on the social platform.

When you delete a media file, it moves to Trash. You can restore it there before the 30 day window ends. After 30 days, EverLoud purges the file and its stored copies for good.

Delete everything

Email hello@everloud.app from the address on your EverLoud account and ask for full deletion.

Within 30 days, we remove every workspace record, post, media file, and analytics row tied to your account. Audit and delivery history cannot be edited or deleted entry by entry; it is removed together with the workspace it belongs to. We send a confirmation when the work is done.

If you want a copy first, open Settings and use Your data, then Download everything. That gives you an export before anything is removed, so nothing is lost by accident.

What EverLoud keeps and why

Delivery and audit history is append only: EverLoud cannot edit or delete a single entry. That history belongs to its workspace, and it goes when the workspace is deleted. Beyond that, we keep only the records the law requires.
